Learning to Tread Lightly

Pt England has adopted a new recycling scheme.  This means we are learning to put our rubbish in the correct bins.  To help us launch this project Domini from Tread Lightly came to explain how we can easily remember what to put in each bin so that we can help the planet.

Mothers Day Cards

As it was Mothers Day on Sunday the children were busy making cards.  They thought carefully about the words to write inside the card and drew some lovely pictures for their mum.

Learning to Swim Like Fish

In Term one the children had swimming lessons.  They enjoyed learning to float, going under the water to find the diving rings and using a flutter board to kick across the pool.  Their confidence in the water grew and they all enjoyed participating in the lessons.  Thanks to the swimming coaches at the Glen Innes Pools.
